Job summary

CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our urgent care network. Responsibilities include performing radiographic views, documenting records, and assisting with front-desk duties to ensure efficient patient flow.

Requirements include ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable, with BLS and drug screening credentials to be obtained within specified periods. The role is PRN and may involve shift flexibility and potential travel to other clinic

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
• ARRT Certification required; state licensure may be required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinic staff to coordinate care and deliver high-quality services to patients.
• Perform all x-ray views per provider orders; document patient records per policy; conduct in-house lab tests (drug screens, urinalysis) and process specimens for reference labs.
• Support front desk duties: greet patients, check in/out, end-of-day procedures, lobby checks, and records release.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate lab/x-ray equipment; conduct semi-annual X-Ray inspections; report artifacts.
• Maintain logs on in-house lab work, x-rays, and external lab submissions; perform equipment audits; follow occupational procedures.
• Collaborate with Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.
• Follow infection control and hand hygiene policies; may work alternate shifts or float to other locations.

Education

Accredited school of Radiologic Services

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Certification)

State licensure may be required

BLS certification within 30 days of start

Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days
