Job summary

CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, in Colorado is seeking a Radiology Technologist (PRN) to join our clinical team. You will perform radiologic procedures and in-house labs, greet and assist patients at the front desk, document records, process specimens, and help ensure smooth clinic operations and high patient satisfaction.

ARRT certification, state licensure if required, and BLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist; ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic and lab duties per license and company policy; ensures patient satisfaction.
• Work with clinic staff to coordinate care and maintain high-quality patient services.
• Perform X-ray views according to orders; document patient records; process specimens for reference labs.
• Assist front desk duties: greet patients, check-in/out, end-of-day close-out, records release.
• Maintain and calibrate lab/X-ray equipment; conduct semi-annual inspections.
• Maintain records/logs of in-house lab work, X-rays and external lab submissions; perform audits.
• Collaborate with Center Manager and staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Follow infection control and hand hygiene policies.
• May work alternate shifts or float to other clinic locations.

Education

Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Services

1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting

Registered Radiologic Technologist; ARRT certification

BLS certification within 30 days of start

Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start

Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start

State licensure (if required) within 30 days
