Job summary

CareNow - Columbia Spring Valley, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Radiologic Technologist (PRN/Part-time) to provide radiology and basic lab duties with a focus on patient care and service excellence.

The role involves coordinating with clinic staff, performing X-ray views, maintaining equipment, and supporting front desk and records tasks while ensuring safety and compliance across workflows.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services is required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification is required; state licensure may be required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start is required.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment or promotion, obtain and maintain state license (if required) for Office Laboratory Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required Radiological and Lab duties in accordance with license and company policy.
• Document patient records according to established practice and policy; perform drug screens and in-house lab tests.
• Assist with front desk duties: greeting patients, check-in/out, end-of-day close, patient interactions, lobby checks, records release.
• Maintain, calibrate and perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily; inspect artifacts and operate per guidelines.
• Maintain records/logs of in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent to reference labs.
• Conduct equipment audits and ensure compliance with occupational procedures.
• Collaborate with Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and clinic staff for smooth operations and good patient care.
