Job summary

Advocate Health in Lexington, NC seeks a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams under the supervision of radiologists. The candidate must be ARDMS/ARRT registered with AB or OB/GYN specialization and hold current BLS certification.

You will work with Radiology staff to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. Responsibilities include verifying orders, assisting with invasive procedures, maintaining equipment, and timely documentation in the radiology system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program required.
• Certification eligible or certified by URAD/ARDMS is preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and improves efficiency in the department.
• Operates the Radiology computer system to enter and charge exams and supplies.
