Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Radiology Department. Under the direction of a Radiologist, the technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail, applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention with professional initiative.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification as Radiologic Technologist
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Florida Radiologic Technologist license
• RTR certification required

• Perform radiographic procedures under radiologist supervision with independent judgment and initiative.

Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.
