Sarasota Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in MRI/CT to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The role requires independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed radiation or radiofrequency beams for diagnostic imaging or intervention, with responsibility for designated areas as needed.

The candidate must hold ARRT certification in Radiology and registry in MRI and CT, along with BLS CPR and FL RT licensure.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Radiology is required.
• Registry in MRI and CT is required.

Responsabilités

• Carry out a variety of procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed radiation or radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

• Require Board Certification in Radiology.
• Require registry in MRI and CT.

Required License and Certs

• ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
