Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic services, position patients, and operate and maintain radiographic equipment.
Position requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and Florida licensure or ARRT certification with timely license attainment.

Preference given to applicants with less than one year of radiologic experience and demonstrated knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
• ARRT certification or proof of program completion and temporary Florida license at hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist) or ARRT certification.
• Must pass ARRT and obtain Florida license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient prior to radiographic exposures and operates radiographic equipment.
• Maintains radiographic equipment and ensures safety and image quality.
• Follows Florida licensing requirements and departmental procedures.
