Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The technologist applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention with independent judgment and assumes responsibility for designated areas. Department: Urgent Care Center_Stickney Pt.

Licenses include ARRT, BLS/CPR, FL RT, and RTR. Shifts can be 8–12 hours; seven days a week; flexibility to work at multiple urgent care

Competenze

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Florida RT license required.
• RTR certification held required.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. The technologist will conduct a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention. The technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.

• ARRT: American Registered Radiation Technologist
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RT: Florida Radiologic Technician
• RTR: Registered Tech Radiology

Preferred Licenses and Certifications

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week, 8 am‑8 pm. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Additionally, shifts can vary from 8‑hour shifts to 10 and 12‑hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is also required, however schedule location preferences will be taken into consideration.
