Job summary
Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The role emphasizes independent judgment with safe application of ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging.
You will work as part of the Radiology team on a first shift rotation, with weekend coverage as needed. ARRT, BLS, FL RT and RTR certifications are required.
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Florida Radiologic Technologist license required.
- RTR (Registered Tech Radiology) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
- Assumes responsibility for designated radiology procedures and areas as required.

Radiology
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required.
- ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
- RTR: Registered Tech Radiology
A weekend shift will be part of this 1st shift rotation
