The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray examinations in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, and regulations under direct supervision of the treating clinician, as well as supports in other needed areas of the facility. This role requires efficient and accurate delivery of patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RT MSS ensures quality clinical care and an excellent patient experience from welcoming, respectful, and skilled colleagues.

Responsibilities
Radiologic Technologist Duties
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, assist in positioning, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort during x-ray exams.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, adjust controls, and follow safety protocols.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices.
  • Maintain radiologic equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure workflow and documentation are followed accurately.
Medical Assistant Duties
  • Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, prepare patients for examinations, perform rapid screening tests, assist providers, and perform routine medical procedures.
  • Manage supplies, maintain cleanliness, operate medical devices, and ensure proper documentation and safety protocols.
  • Assist with patient flow, keep patients informed, and perform clerical duties including front office tasks.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with applicable state certification.
  • Registered with ARRT and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
Experience & Skills
  • At least six months of medical assistant experience, knowledge of medical procedures and terminology preferred.
  • Understanding of occupational medicine requirements and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, communicate professionally, and work well in a team.
  • Required certifications and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
