Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently, ensuring reproducible and diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA guidelines and participates in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs to minimize exposure.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, identifies patients with two identifiers, and explains procedures.
• Cleans and maintains imaging equipment per infection control protocols.
• Scans and verifies documents into PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicates with peers, staff, physicians, leaders, and administration to support patient care.
• Identifies and mitigates artifacts to ensure image quality.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
