Qualifications

• 0-1 year of clinical radiology experience required.
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.
• State radiologic technologist license as applicable required.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain radiographic images of diagnostic quality.
• Follow ALARA and radiation safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients and verify orders before procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Maintain imaging equipment and infection control standards.
• Document results in PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicate with care team to support patient flow.
• Insert IVs for contrast in CT/MRI as policies permit.
• Maintain attendance and comply with policies.
