Qualifikationen

• 0-1 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required.

Aufgaben

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently, ensuring reproducible and diagnostic-quality images.
• Practices radiation safety principles in accordance with ALARA guidelines and participates in safety programs.
• Prepares patients for procedures, verifies orders, confirms patient identity, and explains procedures.
• Demonstrates population-appropriate competencies for all patient demographics.
• Cleans and maintains imaging equipment and follows infection control protocols.
• Ensures availability and organization of supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Inserts IV catheters for contrast injections when performing CT or MRI procedures.
• Scans and verifies documents into PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicates effectively with peers, staff, physicians, leaders, and administration.
• Identifies and mitigates artifacts in images.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
