Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to acquire diagnostic radiographs while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will work with radiologists and care teams to ensure accurate imaging and efficient department operations.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, applying ALARA guidelines, preparing orders, and documenting procedures in PACS, RIS, and EHR systems. ARRT and state licensure are required, with BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience.
• ARRT certification required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA radiation safety principles and participates in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs.
• Prepares patients for procedures, verifies orders, and explains procedures for comfort.
• Maintains imaging equipment and ensures infection control compliance.
• Documents and scans all data into PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicates effectively with healthcare teams to support patient care.
