Job summary

Summit Health Management in New Britain, CT is seeking a qualified X-ray Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform radiologic exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain quality images following physician orders.

You must hold Connecticut State Radiology License and ARRT Certification, demonstrate strong anatomy knowledge, patient care, and be able to operate fluoroscopy equipment and PACS, with commitment to continuing education and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Connecticut State Radiology License and ARRT Certification required.
• Excellent patient and people skills with a focus on safety.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Ability to perform routine radiologic procedures with proper positioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic exams following physicians' orders and regulations.
• Operate radiologic or fluoroscopy (C-arm) equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Verify patient identification and route study data to PACS.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide patient care with dignity.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and data integrity in PACS and HIMMO.
