Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in our Yonkers, NY location. You will follow physician orders, protect patients from radiation, and assist with procedures to obtain high-quality images.

Required NY/CT licensure and ARRT certification, with strong anatomy knowledge and patient care skills. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive benefits in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• New York State and/or Connecticut License and ARRT Certification.
• Excellent patient and people skills.
• High knowledge of human anatomy and cross‑section anatomy, proper positioning and imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow physicians’ orders precisely and protect patients, coworkers, and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Assist patients to the detector or exam table and ensure adequate immobilization for radiologic exams.
• Verify proper patient identification on the study and route it to PACS or system.
• Operate radiologic or fluoroscopy (c-arm) equipment for diagnostic quality imaging and bone density exams when trained.
• Prepare and assist patients for radiologic procedures and provide care with dignity and respect.
