You will verify orders, maintain equipment, prepare rooms, and support teaching opportunities for students. Requires ARRT CT certification, Connecticut license, CPR, and an AS or BS in radiologic technology.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification and CT certification preferred.
• Connecticut State License.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for radiologist interpretation and physician viewing.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce quality CT images.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure adequate supplies for exams.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Schedule and document examinations and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in teaching opportunities for staff and students.
• Chaperone and assist in imaging procedures as needed.

Education

Radiologic Technology degree (AS required, BS preferred)
