Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Radiology Imaging Technologist to perform modality imaging with emphasis on patient safety and comfort. You will work under the modality manager and align with ALARA principles, ensuring high-quality images and accurate patient identification.

Requirements include an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R) certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT(R) Radiography certification.
• BLS instruction or equivalent required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in radiology imaging per department protocol.
• Evaluates images for technical quality and ensures proper patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and maintains Patient Family Centered care.
• Applies patient safety principles and responds to emergencies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand washing policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
