Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. This role emphasizes ALARA principles to minimize exposure and strict adherence to safety standards.

You will ensure proper patient identification, post-process images, and collaborate with the Radiology team to provide high-quality care while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R – ARRT Radiography; BLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging while adhering to ALARA principles to minimize exposure for patients, self, and others.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams in various settings and evaluates image quality; records proper patient identification.
• Provides optimal patient care and upholds Patient Family Centered care philosophy.
• Applies patient safety principles and responds appropriately to emergencies.
• Follows aseptic technique and hand washing policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
