Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. The role performs modality imaging, adheres to ALARA, ensures proper patient identification, and delivers patient-centered care under the modality manager.

Applicants must have an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and BLS; minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred. We offer shift-based hourly pay with incentives and a supportive, mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology completed.
• ARRT-R certification and Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs modality imaging with ALARA, adhering to department standards.
• Evaluates image quality and ensures accurate patient ID and data.
• Provides patient-centered care during procedures; supports safety.
• Assists radiologist with procedures and maintains aseptic technique.
• Follows department protocols and performs additional duties as assigned.
