Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager.

You will apply ALARA principles, ensure image quality, assist physicians, and uphold patient-centered care while maintaining safety and aseptic technique. The role requires an Accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT-R/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required on hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging exams across patient ages and evaluate image quality.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and proper patient identification throughout procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and hand-washing policies.
