Join to apply for the RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST MRI role at Salina Regional Health Center.

Position Overview

The MRI technologist performs MRI procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric) and exhibits superior levels of customer service. The technologist effectively operates MRI equipment to produce quality images in various settings, including the Radiology Department and Imaging Center. Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety by proper positioning and researching implanted devices. The technologist adjusts equipment controls based on knowledge of protocols and assists radiologists when necessary. Interaction with multiple computer systems is also required.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
  • One year hospital experience preferred.
  • Required Certification: Registered or registry eligible with ARRT in MRI; ARRT Radiography credential and Kansas State Board licensure preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
