Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) who provides expertise and is a champion of patient care. Our team works hard to support each other and is looking for a new addition who values patient care as much as we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
- Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts accordingly.
- Collect patient history and document in the EHR appropriately.
- Apply splints, dressings, and bandages.
- Assist with check-in/check-out when needed, including auditing charts.
- Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and samples sent to other labs.
- Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting (preferred).
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services (required).
- Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification (required).
- General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license in state of residency if required by the state.
- BLS certification within 30 days of start (required).
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) (required).
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) (preferred).
- Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start (required).
- Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start (required).
- Within 30 days of employment or promotion, obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant (required).
