Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking Radiology Technologists to join a PRN program within a collaborative care team. You will operate imaging equipment, apply ALARA principles, and contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Eligible candidates provide a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, and ARRT-R certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of radiologic technology program.
• ARRT-R certification and BLS required.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment, maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and prepare rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Perform exams, manage venipuncture and contrast per protocol.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and ensure finalization.
