Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an APRN radiology professional to join our imaging team in Georgia. Responsibilities include performing imaging exams, ensuring ALARA, and maintaining patient safety while supporting compassionate patient care.

The role requires completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT (R) certification with BLS. Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred, with a focus on quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion required.
• ARRT-R and BLS (any equivalent) required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in imaging while following department protocol and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs imaging exams appropriate to the modality and evaluates technical quality; records patient identification.
• Delivers optimal patient care and supports Patient Family Centered care throughout procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and responds appropriately to emergencies.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hand-washing policies.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Other duties as assigned and ensures compliance with Wellstar policies.
