Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required or stated.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
ARRT-R (Radiography) certification is required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and competently, maintaining diagnostic quality.
Maintain infection control; clean, disinfect, and restock rooms/equipment.
Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers before exams.
Explain procedures to patients using AIDET to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort.
Review images for diagnostic quality and complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.
Support department workflow and safety, including crash cart readiness and life-support equipment.
