Job summary

Grady Health System (South Fulton location) is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging across neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients under the Radiologist's direction, ensuring patient safety and adherence to imaging protocols.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, identifying patients, and maintaining workflow while supporting the Radiology department's standards and collaboration with clinicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT; must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow AIDET when communicating.
• Track patients from start to finish to ensure workflow and documentation.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
