Job summary

Grady Health System (South Fulton location) is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients under the direction of the Radiologist.

You will perform procedures, ensure patient safety, manage workflow with PACS, apply correct markers, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to support accurate diagnoses and efficient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• ARRT certification or registry-eligible with ARRT certification within six months of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure accurate patient identification using two identifiers and utilize the AIDET framework.
• Track patients from start to finish to ensure workflow and documentation.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
