Job summary

Grady Health System (South Fulton location) is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging services for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations.

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures across multiple clinical settings while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program is required.
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT and must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients per departmental protocols.
• Prepare examination rooms ensuring safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure accurate patient identification using two identifiers and apply AIDET framework.
• Track patients from start to finish for workflow and documentation.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program

ARRT registration (or eligibility) and ARRT certification within 6 months of hire

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
