Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility with 90-day employment window and temporary state license.
• Current unrestricted license in practice state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates imaging equipment per protocol (may include placement of NG tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, contrast administration).
• Reviews patient images before transmission to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Performs timely quality control procedures and coordinates remediation as needed.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
