Qualifications

• 5 years of radiologic technologist experience required.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed by the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure.
• Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Leads departmental programs and quality/efficiency initiatives.

Skills

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‐based applications

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Flexibility in work schedule

Education

Completion of a radiologic technology program in an AMA approved school
