Job summary

Wellstar seeks an experienced radiology professional to perform imaging exams across modalities in a dynamic setting in Georgia. The candidate will ensure patient safety, proper identification, and high-quality images while supporting radiologists and adhering to ALARA principles.

Requirements include an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R) certification, and BLS. Prior radiology experience is preferred; shift-differential pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion required.
• ARRT-R – ARRT Radiography certification required.
• BLS-I or equivalent Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates imaging knowledge per department protocol and ALARA principles.
• Evaluates image quality and ensures proper patient identification.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Upholds patient safety and aseptic techniques.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
