Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an Radiology professional to perform imaging exams across modalities, upholding ALARA principles and patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

The role requires ARRT-R certification on hire, accredited radiologic technology education, and BLS certification, with opportunities for advanced credentials in MRI and Nuclear Medicine as part of ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required on hire.
• BLS (CPR) certification required on hire.
• MRI modality requires ARRT (R) or ARMRIT credential.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging exams with accuracy and adheres to department standards.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Ensures patient safety and delivers Patient Family Centered care.
