Job summary

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates imaging equipment per protocol; assists with patient care needs.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Supports department operations including inventory and staff scheduling.
