Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II (PRN X-Ray Tech) to perform advanced diagnostic x-ray procedures with minimal supervision, supporting surgical and inpatient services.

The role emphasizes image quality, safety compliance, and intraoperative imaging assistance. Responsibilities include independent x-ray operation, collaboration with radiologists, adherence to ALARA standards, and accurate data entry into EMR/PACS.

Qualifications

• Eligible for employment in the U.S.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology or radiologic sciences is required
• Wisconsin Radiographer license is required
• ARRT certification within the applicable modality is required

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray imaging independently to complete routine and complex exams
• Assist providers and operating room staff with real-time imaging during surgeries
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to protocols
• Maintain image quality by following standards and ALARA principles
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in EMR/PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to support diagnostic needs
• Prioritize imaging tasks based on urgency and surgical schedules
