Job summary

OakLeaf Surgical Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to perform advanced diagnostic x-ray procedures with minimal supervision. This PRN X-Ray Tech role supports both surgical and inpatient services, ensuring image quality and safety compliance within ALARA guidelines.

The position involves operating imaging equipment, supporting intraoperative imaging, and maintaining equipment and workflows in the radiology department.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or radiologic sciences from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification required within the applicable modality (Surgical X-Ray / X-Ray).

Responsibilities

• Independently operate x-ray imaging to complete routine and complex exams.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to protocol and adjusting techniques based on patient condition.
• Assist providers and operating room staff with real-time imaging during surgical procedures, including C-arm operation.
• Follow ALARA principles and ensure compliance with safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Record procedure data, patient information, imagedata and quality notes into EMR/PACS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and clinicians to ensure imaging supports diagnostic needs.
