United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Radiology Tech for PRN shifts to perform radiographic procedures in various settings, ensuring image quality and patient safety. You will operate radiography equipment, position patients, and assist with fluoroscopic studies under physician guidance.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• AART Registered and CPR Current.
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.

Responsabilidades

• Perform radiographic procedures across designated body areas as directed by physicians.
• Operate x-ray equipment and adjust exposure per safety procedures.
• Prepare supplies and explain procedures to patients; position patients for views.
• Assist with fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies.
• Record and label films; maintain orderly work area.
• Consult with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure quality standards.
• Process film per procedures and keep the work area clean.
