Job summary

Aurora Sinai is seeking a Rad Tech II for the 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 22:00-08:00). The role involves performing a wide range of radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality, and supporting radiologists and team staff across the facility.

Requires Wisconsin radiographer license, ARRT RT, and BLS within 6 months. Tuition reimbursement and sign-on are among the offerings.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin radiographer license required.
• ARRT registered technologist (RT) required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently performs basic to advanced radiologic procedures at assigned facility (general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, GI, urology, c-arm).
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and obtain history.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with proper radiation protection.
• Identifies and labels images, verifies exam accuracy, and processes radiographs.
• Assists and consults with radiologists; may work independently outside the department.
• Maintains records, enters data into RIS, and documents billing codes.
