Job summary

Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Radiologic Technologist to perform a broad range of radiologic procedures, including general diagnostics, fluoroscopy, GI, Urology, and C-arm work. The role requires precise imaging, patient communication, and strict radiation safety practices.

Expect 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM with rotating call and potential holiday/weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in radiology positioning and techniques.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and radiology equipment.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.
• Advanced knowledge of anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently performs basic to advanced radiologic procedures including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, GI, urology, and C-arm procedures.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain history and address questions.
• Positions patients, selects exposure factors and ensures image quality with radiation safety.
• Identifies patient data, processes images and logs procedures for billing.
• Works with radiologists and other providers; mentors staff and students.
• Performs patient positioning and transporting duties with proper lifting techniques.
