Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certified radiologic technologist.
• Active radiologic technologist license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• May need MA Competency Checklist in some clinics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency across exams.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prep for imaging.
• Perform exams per protocol; assess image quality.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe area.
• Educate patients and assist students or junior staff.
• Document procedures and manage equipment appropriately.
