Job summary

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist II with ARRT(R) certification and state license.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• May require MA Competency Checklist for clinic/InstaCare settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency across clinical tasks.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and ensure proper identification.
• Perform exams per protocol; review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain safe environment.
• Assist and instruct students and other Radiology Techs with protocols and equipment.
• Provide patient education and address concerns; ensure comfort.
• Maintain infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality results.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment failures.
