Job summary

MedStar Health in the Maryland/DC region is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist for Good Samaritan Hospital. You will perform routine radiographs using digital fluoroscopy and portable equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality under physician specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining radiation safety standards, documenting in the EHR, and coordinating care with the team to support efficient patient flow and accurate image distribution to PACS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required; or a certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification is required upon hire (Maryland) and within 90 days in Washington, DC.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician spec and protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety and organizational policies while imaging patients of all ages.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with equipment quality control.
• Document patient care activities in the EHR and distribute final images to PACS for interpretation.
• Prioritize patient flow and communicate with patients, care team, and families.
