Job summary

MedStar Health, the largest healthcare system in the Maryland–Washington, D.C. region, seeks a Radiologic Technologist at Good Samaritan Hospital for a PRN role. You will perform digital fluoroscopy and portable radiography, maintaining safety and accuracy while supporting patient care.

Responsibilities include patient communication, image quality assessment, QA/QC, and collaboration with the care team. Licensure with ARRT and state licensure in Maryland or DC is required, along with BLS

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Certificate in Radiologic Technology (awarded before Jan 1, 2015) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and institutional policies; ensure proper patient identification and image labeling.
• Participate in quality control and report equipment or environmental issues promptly.
• Coordinate care and communicate with patients and care team; document in EHR and distribute final images to PACS.
