Qualifications

• Associate degree required; or Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT registration required on hire; MD or VA licensure required on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality control; verify patient identification and image labeling.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and patient flow in a team environment.
• Communicate with patients to obtain history and explain procedures clearly.
• Document care in EHR and distribute images to PACS for interpretation.
• Keep workspace clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.
• Educate and support patients, escalating concerns as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and adherence to protocols.
• Follow SPIRIT values and ARRT ethics and departmental policies.
