Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a PRN position at Union Memorial Hospital. You will perform radiographic exams, follow ARRT standards, and contribute to safe, high-quality imaging care across patient ages.

Responsibilities include operating fluoroscopy and portable radiology equipment, participating in performance improvements, and ensuring proper documentation in EHR and PACS. A Maryland or Virginia license and BLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for electronic health records and image management.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment per physician specifications and protocols.
• Provide imaging services for patients of all ages while adhering to radiation safety policies.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows and patient experience.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adequate supplies.
• Document patient care activities in EHR and transmit images to PACS for interpretation.
