Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Radiologic Technology certificate required.
• ARRT registration required on hire in Maryland; must obtain in DC within 90 days.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in MD or VA required on hire.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specification and protocols.
• Adhere to radiation safety and organizational policies; ensure correct patient identification and image labeling.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, patient experience, quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and manage supplies for the assigned area.
• Communicate effectively with patients to obtain medical history and explain procedures.
