Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an approved program required.
• ARRT certification required on hire in MD; within 90 days in DC.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist in MD or VA upon hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs per physician specs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and organizational policies while serving patients of all ages.
• Acquire and evaluate images for technical quality and proper patient identification.
• Document care in the EHR and distribute final images to PACS promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and manage supplies and inventory.
