Job summary

KAISER in Fontana, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I to perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures and support radiologists with image quality.

The role requires knowledge of radiologic technology, patient positioning, and adherence to radiation safety standards. Certification from ARRT and California CRT are required, with BLS as well. Weekend shifts across service areas may be needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to utilize theories, principles, practices and techniques of Radiologic Technology.
• Demonstrates professionalism and culturally sensitive service in interactions with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray control consoles and equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Centers area of interest on films, adjusts technique for pathology and ensures image quality.
• Documents clinical activities and required image information in a timely, accurate manner.
• May work varying shifts including weekends across multiple service locations.
