Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team on a full-time basis. You will operate X-ray equipment, safeguard patient safety, maintain accurate RIS/PACS documentation, and support the department during 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Operates X-ray equipment following procedures.
Provides radiation protection for patient according to safety standards.
Verifies orders, documents in RIS, and notifies physician if modifications are needed.
Uses department RIS to charge exams and manage supplies.
Keeps work area clean, maintains equipment and stock.
Maintains Basic Life Support certification and responds to emergencies.
Develops images using CR/DR with correct markers and information.
Transfers and positions patients correctly for X-ray procedures.
Communicates with nursing staff and physicians regarding exams.
