Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform standard radiographic procedures and support a busy Radiology Department. You will review and transmit films and reports to physicians, and handle reception and clerical duties as needed.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, image production, RIS documentation, quality control, and collaboration with radiologists. This role requires safety adherence and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Radiologic Technologist Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of EH&S, OSHA and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and educate them for radiographic procedures.
• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Complete work to maximize productivity; document charges and supplies.
• Operate imaging equipment and RIS/KP applications.
• Prepare films for radiologist interpretation.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Take rotational on-call shifts after hours.
• Mentor students as assigned.
• Communicate abnormal findings to appropriate staff.
